Unhappy Notifications, How to keep "Display Message on screen"?

Why does this always turn off, regardless of what I do. It'll stay for a little while & inexplicably it will be tuned off in the settings "Sounds & Notifications".

I'm trying to keep it for text, email & Calendar reminders...

Anyone beat this bug?

Might have something to do with this:

We were have problems with Registry edits reverting. Maybe same problem?

Thanks but after, unhiding all of the files in the /windows folder, that file wasn't even in there. So there was nothing for the fake file to overwrite.

I have tried so many things, but so far the only thing that works for me is rechecking the the boxes every couple of days.

This is the most frustrating problem with the Diamond! (And that whole heating up to 1000 degrees thing.)

I was hoping the new rom HTC put out a few weeks ago would fix it but it does not.

Re: Notifications, How to keep "Display Message on screen"?

I'll explain in more detail when I get to a PC but the way I got it to stick was by setting it back to "display message on screen" in "Sounds & Notifications" & then going to each of them in the registry (I used Resco Explorer) and saving them.

Now they survive resets & last after calls etc. Long story short, they stick.
