If you don't like the picture then simply select a picture for your background. The bubble will no longer pop up.

2) Windows mobile 6.5 has built in slide to answer but only when the phone is locked. I actually like this slide to answer better then the HTC version.

Hope that helps
Gonna hve to try that with the themes, the dialer and pop up caller id is the only the thing that peeves me about 6.5.

If anyone wants to play with it I've attached the Iphone dialer which has etphone.dll in it for vga devices, and you can snag the QVGA dialer vin linked to for a QVGA version of etphone.dll with smartdialing and redial enabled in it to compare to...

Re: Alternatives to htc dialer and volume control in wm6.5

Hi All,

Just reporting back after downloading both the Bluetooth Notifier and the Volume cabs.

On my device and rom both work very buggy. I had to uninstall both. They both installed and uninstalled fine.

With the Bluetooth Notifier it kept asking me on screen if I wanted to turn off bluetooth and with my Motorola S9 Bluetooth stereo headset it was causing the audio to become very choppy. After uninstall music and sounds came through normally.

Just an FYI.

Really liked having that darn BT notifier up there though

For me BT notifier is harmless, its asking to turn off/on only when I tap on that icon with stylus.Im 24/7 on BT headset
I had issues with volume controller though + when I change volume control on my BT,the stock small bubble is popping-up...thats work in progress,Im sure that guy will make it perfect one day.

Incoming caller ID bubble is hidden somewhere inside of the .dll or .exe or .mui in the sys.Im sure it can be replaced with custom image. To check every sys file gonna take too much time, but if somebody can point me which sys files or folders may contain it,I can check it out...

is it possible to have this dialer with our own background instead of the HTC 3D grid thing? i skimmed through this thread and i didnt see a way to do it, sorry in case its here and i missed it

also, is it possible to make the white part where it lists the phone calls black instead of white?

thanks

You can download calk's new kitchen and he has a pretty cool looking 6.5 dialer skin.
