Re: Can't set Ringtone
The only way I have been able to access my ringtones, MP3's or Wav's, is by putting them in the folder "My Device=>My Documents=>My Ringtones". If there is not a "My Ringtones" folder, create one. You ringtones should then be visible in your Notifications pull down menu.
The alternate method is by changing the path in the Registry. The key you should change is the following: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0] "Sound"="\My Documents\xxxxx.mp3" (or XXXX.wav) Change the path to the sound to the location and file name of your ringtone.

Re: Can't set Ringtone
Here is a nice set of registry keys for other notifications if you need them. They came from a post Rstoyguy did while explaning how to cook sounds in your ROM's. I don't remember which forum it was but I had copied them and pasted the to a Word Doc. I hope this helps..

Re: Can't set Ringtone
Rigtones are vissible in notification menu!
But it's unreadable! Used mp3 trimmer to "set as ringtone", put mp3 files to /my documents/ringtones/ folder, there all vissible, but when I choose right one, then press ">" play buttun, it's like silent! |
