Re: Can't set Ringtone

The only way I have been able to access my ringtones, MP3's or Wav's, is by putting them in the folder "My Device=>My Documents=>My Ringtones". If there is not a "My Ringtones" folder, create one. You ringtones should then be visible in your Notifications pull down menu.

The alternate method is by changing the path in the Registry. The key you should change is the following:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0]
"Sound"="\My Documents\xxxxx.mp3" (or XXXX.wav)

Change the path to the sound to the location and file name of your ringtone.
