Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
Welcome to the Diamond world... there are a bunch of "bleeding edge" roms on this forum to try out, most either entailing 6.5 or the TP2 manilla, which as you know I'm sure, is still quite buggy... Feel free to search around, but to get you started, I'd check out Calc's 21042 kitchen or roms, I cook in HD Manilla and it works flawlessly for me, no issues here, but you could also check out Mighty rom, he's about to release 5.0 which will be a 6.5 based rom, but his older stuff is also very stable and non-buggy. There are so many other roms on the site as well that you could check out, it's all in what you like though... so get to reading!

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
Thanks a lot
Until 6.5 goes "gold" so to speak, I almost want to stay away from them and stick with trusty ol' 6.1. At any rate i'll check into mightyrom. I'm hoping it doesn't include a bunch of programs that I won't use. Thanks again! |

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
Groove ROM is very strong, as is intx and anything you can cook in Calcu's kitchen. Basically, there are MANY good choices here, and you really can't go ROM with any of them. I know this doesn't make it any easier, but you can also look at the threads and check out the post totals and number of views, and that will give you an idea about popularity and how long a chef has been publishing.

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
rstoyguys is really nice, fast and stable. And its also geared toward Sprint users so it would be a good choice for you.-->
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54164 Mighty's ROM is also very nice but I did run into a few bugs on his latest (4.8 ) But nothing major and I think an update is coming very soon--> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=38999 And if your interested in 6.5 at all I highly recommend Highlife's FUFU ROM I'v found it to be very fast and stable, and one of them is a Rhodium port--> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=62185

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
The one that Juggalo left us with back in November is totally bug free, smooth and very fast. However, it's missing many of the features of the current ROMs.

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
I've had good luck with every one of the ROMs on here. You really can't go too wrong by just picking one and checking it out.
You can always DIY! Calc's Kitchens are easy (and fun) to use. |

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
For a no nonsense rom go with Frugal 1.1. Rom (alRom). Anything 6.5 or rhodium stay far away from. I'm big on stable and used about every rom here. Good luck.
