Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
I have tried several ROMs and i must give major props and kudos to those that spent time to make the ROMs and those that contributed!
With that being said, I found things I don't like about all the ROMs I've tried. One ROM didn't have enough apps preinstalled, another one was too buggy/glitchy, and the one I am on now has a good balance... MysteryRom is pretty good. I *hate* the keyboard on MysteryRom but I am willing to give it a try for now. I really wish he had included the regular compact qwerty keyboard as a choice because that full qwerty large button keyboard is SOOO glitchy. It lags horribly and is hard to type on. (at least on my phone with my fat fingers). I've tried several times to add a qwerty compact keyboard but each time it fails and destroys the keyboard completely. The rest of the MysterRom seems to be pretty slick. It needs Weather Manager and several other key applications built into it, but I found it to be fairly complete and well thought out. I love the "action" menu that lets you do some common tasks like turn on/off bluetooth quickly. |

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
Anyone wanna port Juggalo's last Touch Pro rom to the Diamond?
I've tried at least 10 ROMs tonight and they all lack or include something I don't use or have bugs I can't live with.. However, MightyROM is close...the things i've noticed so far that bug me are: -My internet has stopped working, and since there is no included "update profile" or "update prl" like in the stock sprint rom, i'm screwed. -Every soft reset reverts back to the default HTC QWERTY keyboard, which I loathe. -Combo boxes are too small, SPB Diary is a good example of where the combo box in settings is so tiny you can barely click on it. If I could find a way to make the combo boxes default size, fix my internet, and not make the SIP default back to HTC QWERTY, I would be happy. Juggalo's last TP ROM was flawless in every way. |

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
If you look at post count and views...
MightyROM has over 7000+ posts, and over 500k+ views. Someone earlier mention the No Ring bug, there is such a bug, but there are a few work arounds in that thread. I think MR has the largest user base, and thread in this part of the forum, and even if you have a problem it had the most amount of people who can help.

Re: Most popular bug free ROM?
I flashed 4.8 last night and copied 3 MP3s that worked on my vogue into the windows rings folder and they didn't work so I converted them to WAVs and they do now. I also tried to use one of the WMAs in the folder for one of my contacts and that didn't work either. I first read about that over in the Juicy ROM thread. Windows Media Player causes soft resets on my phone after playing a song for about a minute or so. I can listen to music using the Music tab OK though, but I sure would like to know how to keep WMP from resetting my phone.
