run PPCPimBackupV2.8_wm2005.zip be sure to save the backup in internal storage. the same app backsup and restores.

my bad its not a .cab its a .exe but either way when you go to restore use the .exe not the PIM backup file itsself. otherwise it wont know what to associate the file with. i personally have the .exe in a folder with my backups.

Use microsofts new myphone service.

myphone.microsoft.com

Log in with your live id, and it will say it needs to put you on a wait list, but its usually available the next day. Backs up damn near everything on your phone up to 200 mb..docs, pics, texts, etc.

It's a pretty sharp service.

I use three options right now: Outlook on my PC through WMDC (AS for Vista), Google Sync (set up Exchange server at m.google.com), and DotFred's PIMBackup. I run a PIMBackup before hard resetting. That way I have a quick backup on my computer, one on my phone, and one in the cloud. So far it seems to work but the downside is that Google's service likes to put names in last name, first name as default.
