turn up your BT bit rate in the options. to a higher quality and see if this helps.

My Motorola H12 works great ... Got it off ebay brand new in box never opened $25 ... I also have the Motorola HT820 that I use when I go to the gym and have no problems listening to music on my Diamond I used to get a lil static and choppy ever so often on my Mogul

This App has some Bluetooth tweaks that may help you: (I use the motorola s9 and love it!)

Try using the hand free profile. That changed mine drastically. Also I chanegd the bitpool using advanced config.
