Re: Diamond B L U E T O O T H Audio Quality
Tried the Diamond tweaks for Bluetooth. The carkit still does NOT work for the Altima 08 anyway. The audio becomes very clear and usable after switching the connection to handset and back to Hands-free. This is an indication that either the wrong profile is being selected or the wrong parameters are being used when the car first connects to the phone. The car works fine with other phones and WM5 phones. Microsoft/HTC broke it with WM6/WM6.1. Hoping some of the hacks will fix it as many of the carkits and some headsets have this issue!

I have a 300C SRT8 and my Diamond works like a champ with it. I also have a Touch,Kaiser and an LG paired to it and they all work just fine. My guess is its your Car and not the hand set. |

Re: Diamond Bluetooth Audio Quality
Am I the only one having trouble connecting my Diamond with my AD2P headphones? I originally paired them successfully, but now when I turn my Diamond's bluetooth on, then turn the headphones on, they don't pair. I have the headphones listed in my bluetooth devices, but I don't have a "connect" option. I tried deleting the connection and repairing, but can't even figure this out. I'm such a n00b. Any ideas? I'm using Sony DR-BT21G headset, which worked beautifully with my Q9C. Normally good with this, but I feel like an idiot now...
**update** figured it out, I think, but now no sound. my headphones are controlling the media player, so i know they are connected, but absolutely no sound. so weird. Last edited by Mattemer; 09-23-2008 at 02:57 PM. |

Re: Diamond Bluetooth Audio Quality
Motorola H680 and s9 running stock sprint rom with Diamond Tweaks. Bluetooth working better than my mogul or touch.

Re: Diamond Bluetooth Audio Quality
Two different plantronics models have lots of statics even though those same headsets work great with the mogul and the touch.

Re: Diamond Bluetooth Audio Quality
Anyone one else having deja vu? I remember this same nonsense with the mogul. They released a firmware to fix the issue a few months after the phone was released and then they had to cancel the update and then release another one a month or two later. Why the heck don't they test BT before releasing the phone. Can't anyone at Sprint or HTC spend $50 buck on a BT headset for testing?

Re: Diamond Bluetooth Audio Quality
I guess I have a defective unit, had internet trouble, had internal storage trouble, picmail problems, and have the bluetooth problem. If my Motorola S9 isn't within 10 inches, no kidding, it will be extremely choppy and just turns to junk. My touch would work outside of the 15 foot range easily.

For those with good S9 connections, what BT settings are you using? |
