Push Email on Diamond using SMS
Here is a great piece of software that triggers pocket outlook to send/receive based on receiving a SMS.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=379440 Set up your email to forward to your phone's text message email address. Once that text is received, outlook checks for new mail. I found that once I stopped checking for new mail every 15 minutes my battery life really improved. Am I crazy?

Just set up your e-mail account to forward to 1234567890@carrier.com. For me it's xxxxxxxxxx@messaging.alltel.net and I can get notified that way.
