Picture mail cannot launch

I havent recieved a picture mail in a while but today my phone lit up like it was recieveing a message and then a message came up "cannot launch sprint picture mail." I later found out my friend did in fact send me a picture message. I havent changed anything why cant I receive it?

Oh and I cant launch it at all from my phone, like if I go into picture messages and try to click an old one, same message pops up

any ideas??
