I think the Alltel and Sprint Diamonds are identical from a hardware standpoint, so the battery and cover should work fine. I just bought a Sprint Diamond car charger and it works fine.

They have 2000mah battery + cover for about $12 shipped on ebay.

If anyone is still looking for extended battery and back cover for the diamond I purchased one extended battery and two back covers to see how they were.
