Yeah, typing in the reply text area on forums (not just this one) is frustrating at best. My sentence will go outside the window and then I have to minimize the keyboard and try to move the window around to where I can see where I'm typing. If you try to swipe inside the text box it only highlights text. ARGGH!!

I think the setting you're talking about is for the autodeploy. I was thinking there was an "autoscroll" somewhere. Maybe I was dreaming it??

since we have the numbers on the main keyboard would there be a way to change the 123 button to give different options. I don't have the .com and the @ symbol anymore and I think instead of having numbers in two places we could have more options by changing the numbers on the additional option button and add back in other useful things

Or to make things easier would I be able to get the default layout in post two back with the @ symbol and .com back? I love the themes I'm using now and don't want to lose those though...maybe someone could post the files I could copy and paste into the programs file skins folder to get them back??

EDIT...decided to go through the text files myself. the top row now has the top eng qwerty setting !@#$ and so on, but there is a ! lower in the keyboard to so trying to figure out something to put there...posted and fixed thanks eenie!!!

Tuff... the net part is a simple change.. you have told the keyboard to to strokes and you have to say how many strokes.. you have it telling 3.. when you need 4 .net=4.. see my screenshot for edit.

As for ideas for other keys.. I put some quick text like LOL etc. L8R Use the keystroke method above to make it work.. SS:#strokestomake,

Cool! I'm learning.. I may have changed the wrong things or things that shouldn't/didn't need changing but I got the portrait squished and it still works.. I kept the spacing the same as the compact landscape that alan had posted..

Attaching zip of the 3 files I changed. (which includes my keystrokes)

You need to re-download my white/pink skin cab. You'll get actual arrow buttons on the number keyboard instead of just text. Save your txt file first to keep your cool gray background. Or, you can just pull the arrow bmp files out of the cab.

also when I use the greengray skin in landscape I lose the green space button??

Tuff, I'm not sure as I'm just learning this stuff but yes, it SHOULD since all the skins use the same txt layout.

Watzone, I'm gonna pull the arrow bmps out! Thanks for the reminder...

Reef, I garantee spending time in the nice weather is better than geeking! No problem, I wasn't in a hurry just got to thinking I should be teaching myself these things.. Thing is can you just check my 3 files and let me know if I overdid or underdid the editing.. I wasn't sure if I was to do the actions one or not... I'm thinking I can go lower but it might be too squished.. so I'll keep it like this.. I get a full line of text back with it.

All skins will work with Eenie's layout files. Eenie you layout looks good. Just checked them and they look fine. No there was no need to edit the actions unless you wanted to change something. But all in all Great job. You can go a bit lower if you want, but if you like it now i would leave it.
