Help again please: Mighty ROM failed to update

Try flashing this.

This is the one I used when I got all those errors. It was the only one that succeeded in unlocking my phone.

Just because it says "Security Unlocked" doesn't mean anything. Even when locked it has that, you need to verify it has the word "CMONEX" on there.

You're most likely locked like others have said.

Locked or not, you can flash the shipped rom and radio. This will likely correct your instability problems and allow you then unlock again and begin flashing custom roms again. I've done this more than one time to correct apparent rom problems.

Although this may serve as a fix for some of the ROM problems it is not always necessary. Since, from my understanding, the problem started off from a "shipped ROM" state reverting back to it will most likely cause the same problem when trying to unlock using the same method again.

I see your point, but it sounds like the stock rom may have been corrupted during the unlocking process. Probably couldn't hurt to return it to the shipped state and start again. Just my $.02, lol!

I'm sorry to say but you should save your $.02 until you have $.98 more to combine it with so that when you provide advice it would serve the least bit helpful.

For the record, the qualms about vista:

I've flashed only 4 roms at the moment(shh I'm new >_<) but everything has went flawless with no issues.

I'll be seeing how well it works on W7 this week =]

lol me to i have used vista successfully 4 times as well. I use conflipers ROM. I will also use Windows 7 soon. okay..

It was a stock rom and the phone was 2 days new. We unlocked the phone using the tutorial. It didn't reboot. It stayed in the % screen. So she hit the reset button. We tried flashing mighty mikes rom 4.2. It failed 3 times saying. Error 262: update errror. She then tried doing the interal storage thing but we couldnt get the screen to pop up saying press power to update. So we gave up on that. And then we just gave up completely. We will try soon again tonight. Im just wondering were to start.

We r starting over. I am going to check if it says COMNEX

Okay it doesnt say comnex. So we are using the diamond unlocker modified. rar posted in this

I had the same issue when trying to install the MightyROM.

Try this, volume down + power to get back to the bootloader screen and try flashing a different ROM.

Thank you for all of your help. We checked to see if it was unlocked agian. Which it was not. We then re- ran the unlocker (provided by Drum). We then downloaded might rom and successfullyy installed it! Thanks alot for all of your help and support. I love this commuinity!
