yeah, exactly... its not taking one pic at 7mp, its taking up to 6 at 3.2. and seriously, who cares if its 3.2mp or 7, the truth is, the lens and sensor suck. its taking very big, very bad pictures.

This is not BS as you put it. Take a pic without the reg hack and then with the reg hack you will see for yourself. Not to be rude but don't debunk stuff you haven't tried this really does work. A lot of people (including myself) respect your opinion, don't let us down.

After the reg hack my photos are 4506 x 1536 TEST for yourself and you will see. If anyone is not getting these results check your registry and make sure it reflects what the 1st post says.

give me any picture u want and i can resize it to 7MP resolution too. thats all its doing is stretching the image the 3.2MP sensor gets.

you cant turn a 4cyl engine into a 8cyl, same concept. the physical camera is not capable of capturing 7MP worth of data through its lens and into the photo sensor.

Sorry, but your very wrong here. Stretching a picture does NOT change the resolution.


Edit: Just so you know, it's refered to as "interpolation". They do this when selling cheap camera's. They advertise it as a 12mp (interpolation) with a 5mp CMOS. Its done all the time, a quick search on ebay shows you an example. Here, look at specs at the bottom:
