And one of those quick search links takes u to that exact same previous thread about HTC Home anyway. The search function is limited bcuz u cant put in a 3 letter word and search such as HTC or VGA. Plus how many people are really going to look for a specific persons version anyway. Its not like anyone searches for Joes HTC Home or Marys HTC Home. They simply search for HTC Home. If someone wanted to post a new version of S2U2 they wouldnt start a whole new thread just for that version. They would post it in the S2U2 thread with all the other updates so that other fixes and bugs can be identified. So its not a wonder about being the first to post the PJC version. The version that was posted a while ago is a version by Massi from XDA but its still just HTC Home. Its simply that the thread already exists and the mods have been merging and closing threads like this to avoid repetitive threads and make it easier to search for what people want. As i said earlier i tried that version without success maybe due to a corrupt file or something. Im actually glad u brought it back to our attention and the haptic hardware seems to be a bonus for now.
I was just trying to help, and I did mention in my first post that I did search, and I also asked that Mods please remove if it was listed elsewhere. I don't know, my intentions seemed pretty clear, and simple enough.

Whatever.....It doesn't matter either way. Thanks for your clarification. it's Appreciated.

Your intentions were right on if u ask me bcuz I had the same thoughts like u to go and find a VGA version. Its just that the search function isnt all that great. Hell Ive seen someone start 4 threads in one day and they all got closed or merged bcuz the search function didnt show previous threads on the topics

Re: Older HTC Home VGA Style Here

I've searched a bit. It seems that you need to have version 815.2022 maps for tomtom 7.9 to recognize them. It won't recognize version 7 maps unless the meta file (if you know what that is?) is hacked. So, looks like you have to use the older 6.75 map, or the 8.15.

If anyone has gotten this to work with any other map version, please chime in. Thanks

Thanks alot Stevedog ,I thought it was very helpful ! Personally ,I could've lived without the un-necessary extra condescending remarks.

Re: Older HTC Home VGA Style Here

I have a question about the weather tab. My small town isn't listed. When I used my Mogul, I used the Weather Database Editor to add my location but it doesn't seem to work with my Diamond. Any ideas?

I don't believe HTC Home Customizer works with this version, but there are two others I believe, one of which might work with the customizer. Take a gander at TreyBeno's thread and try them out:

Good Luck!
