Re: Diamond screen won't turn back on

I just had the same problem you guys were having. Screen would shut off either on its own after 30 seconds or after I pressed the power button. Nothing but a reset with get the phone to come back on. I finally got home, and plugging the phone in to a charger stopped the screen from doing that. Not sure what changed, but that might give a hint as to what is causing it.

Re: Diamond screen won't turn back on

I upgraded to the new radio from HTC's website 1.04.05v (Telus) and that seems to have fixed the problem. Flashing the radio also did a hard reset. I did a hard reset at least four times than started using the phone, just to make sure i'm starting clean.

Re: Diamond screen won't turn back on

I had the problem once but a soft reset fixed mine...seems to have some type of registry glitch or program error but even if that were true, it would be seen on many more phones than just what have been posting here.

Re: Diamond screen won't turn back on

It keeps happening on my phone. It's pretty annoying because my alarm was supposed to wake me up the last time it happened. Once I fix it by plugging it in and soft resetting, it can take an hour or a few days before it happens again. I installed FdcSoft Task Manager to see if it was some hidden program that was causing some memory leak, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary. I just now tried turning TF3D off to see if that did anything, but I'm doubtful.
