pocketshield is the other popular one, but it's not 'freeware' (the trial is indefinite and barely nags, though). I wouldn't mind finding some more alternatives, either - s2u2 looks nice, but all I keep hearing about are lockups and sloppy uninstalls.

I'm back to S2U2 for now.
PocketShield keeps on randomly freezing for me, and TouchLockPro occasionally chooses not to power on the phone (have to press the power button over and over and over again before it wakes up). |

Take a look at Throttlelock 0.4 over on XDA.
I started using it and I like it.. With no problems so far. You must remember to reset your device after install. It is just like the unlock on Google android.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=419525 |
