thanks! but if u get too close to the edge, the stitches will rip through the leather. the inside is real soft anyway, no way it could scratch. the next has microfiber inside. maybe ill use thinner leather on the 3rd just to try, but this leather is thick soft and strong, it doesnt feel cheap at all. my buddy said he woulda thought i bought it at the store lol

not sure i like the idea of metal on the inside tho... maybe if i put the microfiber lining on after the staples to cover them up. thanks for the input

Making your own case was a very smart idea by the way.

i dunno, as much as i like it, i think that if it were a lot tighter and would HUG the diamond, it would look phenomenal

Hey, round two is lookin good as well.

I'm glad you liked the suggestion for the microfibre lining. Help keep the baby safe haha. I'll be sure to keep checking back here for round three.

Nice work.

I've got a buddy in shang-hai with some chinese mass manufacturing connections... Let's cut a pattern and ramp up full scale production!

It is a very snug pouch although it may not look like it in pics... the only problem with making it super snug is that it would be really difficult to put the phone in and take it out...

as you can see, i push my thumb up the bottom to get the phone out, which shows you how soft the leather is and that there is no plastic or metal lining to keep a certain shape... i really enjoy this technique of getting the phone out...

if i were to use a metal/shaping lining to make it look and feel case like, not only would cost and production go up, but a caselike feel would be there... i just wanted something to protect against scratches and minor falls, i don't want a steel cage, ya feel me?

did that all make sense?lol

Nice job! The Pouch that comes with the phone really is a big PoS.
Especially for those that prefer their phone being small and thin enough to fit in the pants pocket comfortably and provide protection against any of the pocket-damage on the phone
You made something world better.

My sister gave me her Samsung Instincts Leather pocket, It's like it was made for the touch diamond, it's as thin and wide as the phone, Just a tad taller.
Very comfortable in the pocket and provides hard cover outside and a cottony inside protection for the screen.
