It is a very snug pouch although it may not look like it in pics... the only problem with making it super snug is that it would be really difficult to put the phone in and take it out...

as you can see, i push my thumb up the bottom to get the phone out, which shows you how soft the leather is and that there is no plastic or metal lining to keep a certain shape... i really enjoy this technique of getting the phone out...

if i were to use a metal/shaping lining to make it look and feel case like, not only would cost and production go up, but a caselike feel would be there... i just wanted something to protect against scratches and minor falls, i don't want a steel cage, ya feel me?

did that all make sense?lol
