Prevent sleeping durring a call

So pardon me for being so new at this, I've never hacked a registry nor am I comfortable with it, but I'm seeing so many changes you need to make with the registry. Can you post a step by step ?

Are you refering to teh change i just poseed about or changes in geeral? You you are simply using the editor to brouse to the key and changing a 1 to a 0...It is jsut like using the file explorer in windows...But if that is indeed what you are refering to I can write something more step by step if it would help...

Well I've seen lots of registry edits but never knew how to do them.....

Well here is what i found out...I loaded smart reg 3.5 and used the edit HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone\Sleep switch value from 1 to 0...The screen still turns off but now you can hit any button to bring the screen up and continue with VM or use speaker phone ect...the good part is that the screen can't be accessed to wake the phone...so your face can brush aginst or something and start accessing all sorts of stuff...

So far this is the only working solution I've tried. Having the screen sleep during a call is terribly annoying if going through an automated prompt system or even for ending a call since the button would normally be disabled.
