Re: Canadian Navigation Options

Hey Folks,

I tried out the AmazeGPS and was quite Amazed!. For a free app it's quite impressive, but is limited in it's features.

I looked at IGO8, but it's 3.8GB size scard me away, as I use my phone as a music player and that would leave me with no storage space.

So it looks like it's the TomTom, trying it out now, and will probably stick with it. Thanks for all the input.

Re: Canadian Navigation Options

iGo's Canadian maps are only about 150mb including POIs. If you're looking for something that doesn't take up much room, it's your best choice.

Re: Canadian Navigation Options

Where would one download TomTom 7 for a Sprint Diamond? And the US maps too? I've looked everywhere...just can't find it..

Re: Canadian Navigation Options

hey folks, just thought I'd give an update,

I managed to try out both TomTom 7 and iGo 8. Although both apps are good, I do prefer iGo, it seems easier to use, in terms of options, pois, and route options.

fwiw, both apps have their maps as various files, so you can unload specific maps to have a smaller install size.
