Re: Can't Move Files to Diamond????
That would be the last thing I would try.
First I'd reset, then try again. Then I'd goto USB to PC, set it to Disk Drive again then try. Then I'd set it to activesync and see if I could transfer that way Then maybe a hard reset. |

Re: Can't Move Files to Diamond????
Yeah, I look at a hard reset as the nuclear option, not ready to try that yet. Tried the soft reset first thing, of course, but with no luck.
I did find that by copying the .cab file I was trying to transfer to a different folder on my laptop, then dragging it from that folder instead of the usual location where my downloads reside, it worked. I'm still at a loss as to why, though. |

Re: Can't Move Files to Diamond????
"If possible" is the key-- I'm not presently in a locale where I can get a data or wifi connection on the Diamond.

Re: Can't Move Files to Diamond????
I didn't mention it in the original post because it didn't seem relevant to the problem I'm having-- even if I did have access to data, while that would obviously give me an alternative way to load .cabs, it wouldn't resolve the basic problem-- and I'd really like to know what can cause such behavior. Even now, although I've found a workaround, I'd still like to fix it so it works the way it supposed to.

Thanks, guess it's one of those "nature of the breed" things, I'll know to move it elsewhere from the zip file first next time! |
