Re: Proud new owner of the HTC Diamond

Bell operator package will screw up the sprint and telus data... bell does itd data authentication differently.

Point UI will be available in an oem eventually. then i will most likely be including it in my rom with a first boot option that asks if you would like to use TF3d or Point UI. hope i can get it workin.

Re: Proud new owner of the HTC Diamond

Hello,

I have a new Diamond from Bell as well. It is a great device but I have a problem. I cannot get any vibrate or sound notification for any emails (both my company exchange mail and my personal @live.ca mail)

Have you use email on yours yet? Does it work?

I swapped out the phone with Bell, but same issue. I did talk to HTC for 2 hours but still no go after to hard resets...

Ron

Re: Proud new owner of the HTC Diamond

okay, how bout going into the same tab, selecting "new email message" as the event and then checking "vibrate" at the bottom as well as the "play sound" near the top? they work for me, they're just not selected by default

Re: Proud new owner of the HTC Diamond

Yes. I have done that.... they work when youtest them, but not when email arrives. the LED does flash, and the icons show the new messages, I just dont get a vibrate or the sound...
