Re: HTC Album Application - Folder Exceptions
I found this in the registry:
\HKLM\Software\Software\HTC\HTCAlbum\Ignored\ There is a key named Camera with a string value of "\My Documents\Templates\" You could try adding your Skybook stuff into that folder and see if HTC Album misses the contact pics.

Re: HTC Album Application - Folder Exceptions
Cool, let us know how it goes. I am sure that we could create some new keys with other folder exceptions as well.
Actually I tested it and was able to create a key for a new ignored folder that worked. New string value: Name: Test String: \my documents\my pictures\test I then made the test folder in \my documents\my pictures\ and dropped a few pics from my PC into it (new pics to ensure that I knew whether or not they were showing up). They did not show in HTC Album. I removed my test key in the registry and checked HTC Album again. This time my pics in the \my documents\my pictures\test folder showed up. Re: HTC Album Application - Folder Exceptions
First attempt was unsuccessful. I added "\Internal Storage\Windows\SkyBook". The issue is finding a way to make it recognize an Internal Storage folder.
I know if I migrated the SkyBook cache to regular storage i could make this work but I really dont want to sacrifice the 5MB of program memory. |

Re: HTC Album Application - Folder Exceptions
From my tests I was also able to make any folders in Storage Memory not show up in HTC Album. I was not able to successfully make any folders in Internal Storage not show up.
Does anyone know how the registry interprets an Internal Storage address? What does it need to be prefixed with "\Internal Storage\..." is not currently working for me. |
