Problem updating to .net cf 3.5

Yo folks,

well im having a little "issue' here. Since i've had my diamond, ive been trying to install net cf 3.5. I have tried every which way to install it, to device memory, internal storage, straight .cab, from the .msi on the computer, and im running the stock sprint rom. I hate asking questions round here, but I cant figure out what im doing wrong, I never had any issues updating my previous devices. Whenever i try to install i get the this program was not installed successfully. Anyone got a clue whats going on?

I think .net CF may already be installed, since you're running WM6. I had the same issue w/ my 700WX after I did the upgrade to WM6, and got the same message.

cant be, im trying to run 3 different programs that fail to launch:

"this application requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device"

its not, find a post or a thread or search user saumaun, the cab is in his sig. ill look. this cab works, no problems. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/member.php?u=16583 success, if you want opera casche to be stored on internal me for more mem. ill post the fix if you dont allready have it.

i found it already, its in his sig like u said. i tried that one too...its the same version i was trying to install already, and still no go

Try the one that I have attached... six Diamonds and counting with no issues yet.

Also, make sure that you do a soft reset if you have installed any other apps before you try to install .NET CF 3.5. Otherwise, you can get the error that you mentioned above (I do if I am mass installing and forget to do a soft reset after an app install and before installing .NET CF 3.5).

yep, same one. its the same one from microsoft. man, ive done 2 hard resets on this thing and it still will not work. I cant see it being a faulty device, because i can do any other tweaks/programs on here just fine. I cant be the only one here with this stupid problem can i? lol

Which one is the same one?
