if the device is not from there network then they wont activate it.
should have asked them before you bought the device. nothing anyone can do to help you.

well the company he speaks of could have a opened network and just not be compatible with MEID's (Which is what newer CDMA phones use)... try finding your pESN (diffrent from MEID and ESN) and giving them that...

i'm not sure if it's allowed to attach the file here or not.. but there is a small program that will convert MEID to pESN... anyways you can google MEID pESN converter and the first result is what you seek

No, pESN is not for network ID purposes, it's a legacy ID just for back end network services that doesn't support MEID system yet, like texting, and it's calculated using the MEID. What you have to do is ask if your network supports MEID in their system and enter the MEID instead of the pESN.
