I've read through this entire thread and it's very confusing. I would also like to see the FM Radio working on a SPRINT DIAMOND with the stock ROM.
What is the difference between a custom ROM and the stock Sprint ROM that makes the FM Radio work/not work? Is it simply drivers?
Maybe the cab won't install correctly on the Sprint stock ROM because some of the files are write-protected. Has anyone tried using Total Commander to put the required files onto thier stock-ROM Sprint Diamond?

To be honest with you I like the stability and compatibility of the stock rom. Everything works just fine and the battery issues don't really bother me. I also don't want to have to re-install all the programs I have on my phone and re-do all of the setting changes I have made.
The one issue I do have with the stock sprint rom is video playback - are there there any ROMs that have alot better movie playback performance via Album/WMP than the stock ROM?
