so, will this ONLY work with a cooking of these files into a ROM/ROM ALREADY cooked with these files, or, can we add these to a stock rom and make it work?
Also, does anyone know for sure as to why the TP isn't working with these files?

Probably... I do not know the sources... sorry... but fantastic... I really thought FM radio was left out of CDMA diamonds

I just discovered that my old mogul headphones will also work with the fm radio. I've got about 4 pair laying around from all the moguls i swapped back in the day lol. just thought others would like to know.

I'm definitely a noob with Windows Mobile (diamond is my first PPC) and a big wussy for not flashing a custom rom...

I like to tinker, so I tried to find a way of replacing some of the FM driver files in the windows directory but it's locked up pretty tight it would seam.

I bet if there was a .cab just to install those FM drivers then the software would work on stock ROM. two of the driver files fm_on_2_0.bts and fm_on_2_1.bts are in the stock rom. However the fm_on_2_1.bts in the telus stock rom is a different file than the one in the driver package... the main "FMS.dll" is not located in the windows directory so maybe even with just that file installed it would work.

Just throwin' some ideas out there hoping that something might gel for us wussy stock ROM users.

Just do the reg edit and install the cab software... ANY set of headphones will work. Even if you connect the 3.5mm adapter with no head phones, the FM radio will work as long as something is connected to the port in the phone that will act as an antenna.

By the way, The people or person who discovered how to unlock the FM feature in the Sprint CDMA, your a g-damn'ed genious cause i was EXTREMELY disappointed that only the GSM had it and it made no damn sense! THANKS!
