Re: n00b: Diamond Getting HOT!
no recommendations at the moment... the phone simply gets hot when you're talking on it and when using GPS. if it's getting hot when you're not using it, something else could be wrong and it may be worth swapping.
on the other hand, several users have returned the device because of the heat issue and battery life. don't know how your device is configured and how you use it but i can get 10-12 hours between charges, which is good for a phone like this. it's not the best battery life, but i knew that prior to purchasing the device.

Re: n00b: Diamond Getting HOT!
I've been getting about 8 hours with push email. Streaming Sirius to bluetooth headphones and Watching a bit of Sprint TV, with some browsing thrown in too.
I flashed to the Juicy 2.5 Redid programs and found that it was WiFi Router that I thought to try. It won't shut down at all. I'm reading up on it now. Even turning off W-Fi and an uninstall it's running. Last edited by fr4nk1yn; 11-02-2008 at 04:48 PM. |

Re: n00b: Diamond Getting HOT!
I need to read up on the Verizon radio. Being on Sprint that scares me a bit.
I know the heat issue has been beat but you should've felt it. I cleared the battery out in about than two hours too. I'm waiting in line last night a 4am and had to shut down at 6:20am! o: |
