i just ordered a silicone skin. usually those turn out okay depending on the quality of the silicone. Ordered is for $16 with shipping from daydeal.com

why not just spray paint the clear plastic cover Mine has been painted for over a month now and it has not rubbed off.

for me it was the difficulty of removing it when i chose to.
