I got the same thing - gave my wife the silicone case and kept the clear case for myself.

I removed the belt clip knob (it screws off, I used a pair of pliers to remove it instead of a screwdriver) and use the case that it came with just to carry it around.

Mine did this as well at first. I opened the case back up and repositioned the phone slightly and all is well now...all buttons functioning as normal

yeah i'm thinking i might give this another try... i need to have my phone protected and i did open it and just not 'close' that lower right area clasp all the way... i'm trying to wait for other options to arrive as well though... sigh

I have gone through two diamonds and two sprint clear cases and all pushed the buttons in. I liked the case. But it did not work.
