Very true, so long as i don't brick my device in the process
 Now, one thing that i did notice is that the icon for google maps went from that map with the thumb tac in it, to a compass. Not really an issue at all, but it brings up another question of is how do you change icons for programs? For google maps it is strange, everywhere it shows the compass as the icon, but in the pull down menu (on the top right) it shows it is the map and thumb tac.

There probably isn't anyone reading this anymore, but i used the clear storage function to clear my main storage and reformat my internal storage and everything is now 100% back to store default. I reinstalled google maps and everything is just spiffy on it now, and the icon is back to what it should be as well. So thumbs up all around.
