Re: Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

(if you aren't doing this already) install your programs to Internal Storage (the 4 gb part) vs. Main Storage and clear your Opera / Internet Explorer cache if you been doing a lot of web/You Tube browsing and viewing.

Did getting rid of pocket express save much space. I'd like to get rid of that. I do use pmclean to clean up files. I tried to install most things to internal storage, but a few I was afraid to put there.

Re: Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

Here's an option that works. Use Total Commander to move the entire folder for Sprint Navigation and Sprint TV to your Internal Storage area. Recreate shortcuts for your start menu. It will free up the storage area for more stuff.

I did this after a hard reset and preventing the customizations from running. I installed them manually from the Windows directory. You can move them afterwards, but the uninstall is still not available.

PS: It does no good to ask it to install to Internal Storage since it's hard coded for Main Memory. Just install it and them move it. It works. I did the same for the IM app. Freed up a lot of memory!

Re: Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

Is there a way to see what files are using storage memory?

Are there other programs that could be moved to internal storage with shortcuts without messing up speed of access or causing problems?

Re: Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

JohnBecker, one question, how do you redirect the TF3D links to the new location of the files?

Re: Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

The most ive ever been able to use and still keep the phone useful is 45mb of RAM with 90MB free left. Dont complain.. we still have more RAM free than some phones even come with. I have 136mb after soft reset.
