Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

I thought the Sprint Diamond was supposed to have 288 mbs of RAM? When i look in memory manager it shows a Total of 203.84 MB of Program memory with 122 MB free

Is this normal?

Re: Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

look in settings->system->device information->hardware tab

288mb total
84..16 OS
203.84 program memory

then your used leaving the free. the OS uses RAM just like a computer. it shouldnt matter either way you cant possibly fill even 125mb of free RAM let alone 200+, its just a number

Re: Sprint Diamond RAM / Memory

Is there a way to move some of the storage space from Program Memory to Storage Memory. My Storage memory is down to 12mb free but I have 113mb Program Memory free.

No. Two totally different things. That's like asking if you can install a video game on your computer to your RAM.

Hard reset then soft reset twice to stop the Sprint customizations. I did this and now have roughly 45-50 megs of free Storage Memory.
