Alltel users just dial *22899. It will fix issue OTA. if not, then you have to do it yourself. (it is a issue of new MIN from Verizon/Alltel agreements)

yes, I tried a bunch of cab versions jug's and mine before I made the one I posted... just beware that if you uninstall jugg's after installing mine, it will revert to the setting it was before installing juggs.
best advice would be to uninstall juggs first then install mine.

For those unaware (this includes me until now!) it looks like you can uninstall cabs from Remove Programs in the Settings. I'm about to do this just as shaggylive advises.

Re: Solution on delay answer when data on (no hard reset needed!)

Man, I hope this fixes my problem too, but when I go to change the registry, I see the following (I'm using Total Commander to see this):

47 00 50 00 52 00 53 00
5F 00 62 00 79 00 65 00
5F 00 69 00 66 00 5F 00
64 00 65 00 76 00 69 00
63 00 65 00 5F 00 6F 00
66 00 66 00 00 00 00 00

That's nuts! So, when I change it to "#777", do I simply change it to just this?:

23 00 37 00 37 00 37 00 00 00 00 00

That'll fix my problem, right??

no, that's devided into mulitple strings, that's the reason why it should not be a multi_sz value.

MULTI_SZ is for multiple strings. this is a single string so it should be just a REG_SZ.

try this and let me know how it works out.
ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/Shagg...dResume777.cab
Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings]
"SuspendResume"="#777"

Awesome, that cab worked like a charm changing the value to "#777".

So, when I'm in Total Commander, I go right to the "SuspendResume", double-click on it, and instead of all that Hex code pop up, it actually pops up with "#777" as people are saying it should here.

I'll be testing it tomorrow when people here in the states are awake. Thanks again.

ShaggyLive's cab works brilliantly! Thank you Shaggy!

Re: Solution on delay answer when data on (no hard reset needed!)

Here are my findings:

1. DiamondTweak can also change the registry setting in question. After a hard reset, I did not install AdvancedConfig and still got the problem after using DiamondTweak. I was even careful not to change any connection/timeout-related settings.

2. The registry setting displayed in PHM RegEdit, at least for me, was "#777/n" - neither of the cab files in this thread fixed that registry entry for me, soft reset or not.

3. I used TotalCommander to fix it by changing that entry to: 23 00 37 00 37 00 37 00 00 00 00 00 (as mentioned, the top line is ok, and the bottom line needed trimming).
