It doubles words because you typed it out fully then used the word completion and its saved as an entry. Clear your user dictionary to fix this.

my mistake, thought you meant the full qwerty as per the post i replied to... not sure, i can't use the "keyboard" keyboard unless i'm using the stylus. those keys are too small! lol

OP if this is still driving you nuts there is a fix...

use this and then go into settin input and enable auto correction!


after you sof-reset go to settings, input, word completion and uncheck everything!

Badboy thanks for your fix. Somehow back then I managed to fix it some other way (probably hacking in the registry which I never recorded). But after loading the new leaked official sprint rom it's back again and I could not recall how I fixed it. But your fix above worked like a charm. Thanks.

Got a Daylight savings fix in your back pocket by any chance
