Issues with Mail after phone is sleeping

that post from xda is mine. when i first got my diamond i was not getting any email notification when device was asleep. when i had the touch (old phone0 i got every email notification if the device was sleeping or awake. so i started checking the differences in the registry and that is what i found. it works perfectly for me. i was worried that it would shorten battery life but it has no effect on my battery life. i am just glad for once i can provide a solution since this forum and xda have been so much help to me.

Thanks so much for that. I do appreciate you sharing.

Now I just need to get the ins and outs of getting at the registry on the WM phone. Should not be a problem, seems the same as windows itself.

I think I will try that fix first before flashing to a new rom, just to make sure it works ok and that it is indeed software, but it sounds like it is.
