Re: Tired of set up your phone everytime you flash a ROM? read here
This has info about setting up a Exchange server, but I haven't tried it yet...Can't find where to set the pw though, otherwise it looks pretty good.

I haven't tried it yet, but could you not avoid all this by using a backup program like spb that allows you to restore from a backup by forcing a rom upgrade, this way, only the system files are upgraded but all your programs and settings are restored untouched - i guess this is just in theory. Anyone tried this?

<!-- Email Account settings-->
<characteristic type="EMAIL2"> . . </characteristic> I've looked all over my registry for all kinds of key names and values like - "IMAP4", INSERVER, my email account name, domain name etc but i can't find those values anywhere in registry. Where exactly is that info stored so I can copy it right now before I flash to a new ROM? Thanks. |

Re: Tired of set up your phone everytime you flash a ROM? read here
I found this nifty little program on XDA but I just can't seem to figure it out exactly:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=390846 I've read the UC thread over there, it makes sense, as far as doing it manually. But getting the program to do it seems a lot easier, it's even got a field for owner information. I've looked and there is no guide or how-to anywhere. |
