I've been using WMWifiRouter since August and ripped through 1.64GB in that time, probably less than a quarter of the total being acutal browsing or other data stuff on the phone itself. No charge. Imagine that at $8.00/MB!! Myke... |

Re: Tethering with Telus
It isn't, my point is just be cautious and test it out to make sure whatever you're using is working for you before you do any major data transfer otherwise at 8$/MB you could have a nasty surprise.

Re: Tethering with Telus
Hey guys,
I'm sorry if my question is a bit redundant, but i just wanna make sure i don't get charged just in case. I'm currently using Juicy 4.3 ROM on my telus diamond, and i've seen that "3rd option" when you connect your phone to your laptop...i just wasn't sure what that was. so my question is, would it be better to try tethering by clicking that option, or by using WMWifiRouter? (i.e. which option would give me better assurance that I won't be charged for using data if i connect to my laptop)? Thanks for the help everyone, as it's always greatly appreciated. (p.s- sorry once again if i'm being redundant lol) |
