Re: View \Windows Folder vis USB on Computer
I do not have a Diamond, but this MAY work. Sorry, it's pretty basic and probably didn't make this mistake. If so, don't worry!
When you connect via Activesync, explore the device, then select the Windows Mobile Device thats in the list of folders. From there you will see the root directory of the phone.

Re: View \Windows Folder vis USB on Computer
Here we go, with pictures
With your phone synced to your computer via USB, open My Computer on the PC. Next click on the Organize dropdown at the top right. Then click on Folder and Search Options: Next click on the View tab at the top and make sure that you have the radio button marked next to Show hidden files and folders: Next remove the checkmark for Hide protected operating system files (recommended): You will see a new window with this warning: Click Yes and and then click the OK button to close the Folder Options. Now drill down into your device and see the /Windows directory: Let me know if you need more help or this did not work.

Re: View \Windows Folder vis USB on Computer
Thanks rainfreak, I was trying to do it on my computer hard drives and it was not working on the phone. i guess now it makes sense as each drive has it's own folder options.
Thanks so much. I really, really appreciate it. |
