does sprint Picture Mail require monthly cost? I flash rom and it got sprint picture mail. I don't think my sprint account has this service.

Most vision packs specifically include picture mail

Re: Picture Mail for Sprint Diamond

My question with picture mail is if you can use phone numbers to send the pictures? I installed the sprint picture mail cab hat was linked and it will only allow me to use email addresses. I thought that picture mail would have been a bit more streamlined like most other phones or at the very least, allow me to use a phone number and not just an email address.

Re: Picture Mail for Sprint Diamond

it uses phone numbers. make sure you have your entries saved as mobile or text and not home or work.

Re: Picture Mail for Sprint Diamond

I found a cab else where that now actually works...before it looked like picture mail was trying to send from an email account and I kept getting errors when I would put in a phone number saying you can't send from POP3 blah blah blah accounts.

New problem, when I receive a picture mail, where do I go to view it? In programs there is no Sprint Picture mail listed, the text tab doesn't show I received it and the mail tab doesn't reflect a received picture mail either. However, there is a icon in the status bar showing I received one but when I click it, the only option I get is to dismiss ..

Re: Picture Mail for Sprint Diamond

alright, finally able to send but it's like the same old style w/the sms w/a link to the pic hosed on sprint's site.

mine shows as an "email" account from the TF3D screen... haven't been able to successfully send any MMS's yet though...

I am having this same issue... whenever I receive a picturemail I get a textmessage saying so. The only way I can view it is to connect to the internet and view it via a webaddress. I have 3 email accounts associated with my phone, outlook, aol, and sprint picture mail, but the sprint picturemail email account never states that I have received picturemail. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Re: Picture Mail for Sprint Diamond

The sprint pic mail is only for the diamond currently. The ppcgeeks of course have extracted the file, but it doesn't work properly on any other phone except the diamond. So of course if you have a diamond use the sprint pic mail because thats what its made for and you get to use all the features like audio and video. If you don't have a diamond, then you should be using smms, its that simple.
