Re: HOTTT Batterry/Phone !! :(

The battery is at the top middle of the phone and definitely not the area that's getting hot. The bottom half of the phone is what gets hot....

Re: HOTTT Batterry/Phone !! :(

I was using my girlfriends Diamond the other day and I also noticed this. Like someone said before, if it's getting hot it is from battery draw and that's why the phone wont last long. I also believe a radio update should help this problem since it must be something to do with it connecting to the towers. I really hate how hot it gets and how quick it dies, and it's mostly around the home/ black button and below.

Re: HOTTT Batterry/Phone !! :(

Does anyone not have this overheating problem? My contract ends Wedns thinking about ordering the Diamond. Wonder if I should wait for Pro. For some reason I feel it's gonna have the same heating issue.

Re: HOTTT Batterry/Phone !! :(

The overheating must have something to do with the radio. When I run slingbox continuously the phone starts a pretty good burn a few minutes into it. The overheating may be bad for the device as electronic parts usually have a lower lifespan in hotter enviornments. This may be a deal breaker for this phone.

Re: HOTTT Batterry/Phone !! :(

I too have noticed the temperature on the phone getting hotter than comfort level while talking on the phone. For my phone the heat is coming from the back (not sure if it's upper or lower).
