Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

If anyone applies the full skin, I'm curious whether it restricts removing the back cover. Need to be able to soft reset and replace the battery and all.

I never thought about that, I would imagine it shouldn't

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

Im sure everyone has seen the thread about the guy that had this and ruined his diamond by trying to take it off. I remember reading from multiple people talking about how it takes hour(s) to put this on and I dont have the patients for that. Otherwise I'd bye this in a heartbeat!

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

I search on PPCGeeks forum and found these pics of InvisibleShield on the HTC Touch. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=17452 At least these pics show that the sides of the device are not covered up very well..... Not sure how the Diamond InvisibleShield will be....

There is also discussion on that post about removing the InvisibleShield, including a You Tube video showing removal of one from an iPhone/iPod Touch (took him less than a minute to remove). Seems to be safe to remove it, though don't quote me on it.

The shield seems more rubbery than plastic from the pics. I wouldn't use it as a screen protector, maybe a body protector is fine. I'm using the included protector that came with the diamond and it is smooth, flat and really invisible.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

I have full body on my iPhone 3g. It's bit tricky to install, and I'm not a huge fan on grainy texture on screen, but it does protection job very well, so would suggest it IF YOU HAVE IPHONE 3G. I only got it for the phone since I couldn't get insurance on it.

Make sure to get out all the liquid out from sreen if you don't want to see streaks inside the screen though - which isn't really easy to do.

As for HTC Diamond, I just use the screen protector it came with since I have insurance on the phone, and back of the phone seems like it's a cheap replacement.

Remember invisishield is one shot deal - I mean, it's not meant to be taken off, and put back etc, so make sure to put em right on your first installation.

I messed up on my first try on my iphone, and tried to re apply it, but corners really weren't sticking as good as before, so I just ended up buying another - I was told life time warranty doesn't cover user's error on installation.

Thanks for the input Juggalo. Although your statement is definitely true, I also agree with SprintTouch08 that it's a matter of preference.

I haven't put a bra on the bumper of my car and there are scratches and nicks on it, but I've never had the desire to put one on, even if I were to get a new car. Just differing opinions though I guess.

I may just buy the full body and see which parts I want to leave on.

i only want the screen proctetor, not the full body. i have install this before in my touch (twice) and mogul. it takes me less than 2 minute to put it in without no bubbles. easier than the one from sprint. i really think that anybody who haven't try it and are going by videos and picture should buy it. if you don't like it then you know not to buy it again.
