Re: My own music on my phone
The solution for your problem is fairly simple. All you have to do is make a music folder on your storage drive(on your ppc) then connect it to your ppc in disk transfer mode. Take all of the songs you want and drop them into the music folder, when you go to the sprint music tab on your phone click on library and it'll find all of the media on your phone. There should also be the ability to select in manually, but the sprint store application automatically downloads the album art and all. It'd would be most efficient to put all of your songs in folders by artist and albums(Ipod like) this way you can get the album art. If you have any issues just pm me and I'll be more than happy to help you out

Re: My own music on my phone
If it's like the other PPCs, they're just in a Music folder somewhere.
You don't have to put music there, though. You can put it anywhere, so long as you remember where. If you're using Windows Media Player, you don't even have to remember that... just hit Menu & "update library." It'll find your music for you. Hope that helps... |

Re: My own music on my phone
Connect your Diamond to your PC.
Explore your device through windows explorer. Find the music directory on the device. You wont be able to delete all of the files in there until you create another playlist and the files are not in use. It's rather tricky to add media files to a playlist for playing in the sprint player. This is something you can play around with. As a previous poster stated, it's easier to just add or copy the files to the directory. I'm not sure if the player looks at the internal 4 gig storage location or not. It may. I like to use GSPlayer. It streams through shoutcast, it also play mp3's at very good quality with surround sound simulation plus a variety of other profiles and filters. |
