Question about Sprint Touch Diamond tech support and service

Sort of an odd question...

I purchased a NIB Touch Diamond off of ebay. Am receiving it today sometime.

Does Sprint (or do Sprint stores) offer tech support for phones if they aren't purchased through Sprint? Or, do I have to go through HTC for any warranty issues?

I purchased a BB Pearl via Radioshack online last Feb. I have taken that to a Sprint store to fix a button pad issue. No questions asked cept for my account number, etc.

Since it's branded Sprint, I'm guessing they will service or exchange if necessary? knock on wood
