Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
yeah exactly... or you can delete the force connect key as well, then you can choose which connection to use...

After reading the complete thread, I am a little confused. Is the consensus , that we first apply the zip from post 3 then do the reg edit. "Just what "Schwartz" describes and the following registry changes: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing] Extension="" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings] ForceCellConnection="Sprint PCS" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing] MaxCMCon=0" then "Using my reg editor under HKLM/COMM/INTERNETSHARING/ THE EXTENSION= "isext.dll". You're saying to delete this dll? then under settings change forcecellconnect to "sprint" right?" or you can delete the force connect key as well, then you can choose which connection to use... ![]() ![]() |

Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
I'm a little confused about tethering. I've been using PDANet for about 6 months but use it only occasionally and never for heavy downloading. Only email and occassionaly viewing news website, UPS Tracking and checking hotmail and gmail accounts. I have Simply Everything and i've never been charged anything extra and I don't have the tethering plan. Does Sprint know what I'm doing and just haven't said anything or what?
