Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
Solved my own problem. I decided to mobe from MightROM4 to MightROM6, and tethering works automatically on the Sprint Diamond. - I did not have to do any reg hacks. In the case of MightyROM4, you may not have needed to change the registry. It may have already been set.

Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
So, has anyone been charged yet for using the cab file posted by the OP?
And, is this also the same hack/fix that Mighty (and others) use in their ROM's? |

Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
I consider they are not compiling their own cabs and typically share them, but am not 100% sure. I have read once before that the carriers have no way of differentiating traffic to your phone or laptop. I do know that if your bandwidth goes beyond a certain point you can possibly get either addressed or warned, and I believe that amount of bandwidth is an amount that somebody on an unlimited plan and going heavy might be concerned about.

Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
Hello,
I installed this cab and my ringer does not go off for incoming calls anymore. Everything else works great. I just cant hear any sound. I have tried the usual phone settings.. and they are all normal, I can even test the ring, but the ringer doesnt kick in when I am getting a call. Any help is appreciated.. |
