Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
1) There are 2 different sets of instructions for the Diamond vs. the Mogul.
in the mogul you must put Sprint PCS, but for the Diamond you must only put SPRINT. This tells the phone how to connect to the server. Hint: when you make a data connection with your ohone and the bubble comes up stating Connection to Sprint PCS or Sprint etc. Whatever the value is in the bubble is what you should be putting in your registry changes. 2) when you use the internet sharing press "connect" FIRST... then connect to the usb port of your computer. - make sure your computer is set up for accepting a network connection from the usb port. IF not, then connect the phone as stated above and run the new connection wizard in windows. 3) if your USB port works then your phone should accept a charge from the computer and not lose battery power.

Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
I tried this on touch pro and I am still not able to use bluetooth via wmodem. I could connect using ICS, but I have issues with using my work VPN on ICS. I was able to use wmodem USB.

Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
I have read all the post and I noticed a few posts with the same problem as me but didn't see any answer.
Installed the cab from the first post on my HTC touch Pro Enable data Hit connect in internet sharing and connect the usb cable. Get connected On my Vista I get a remote connection #6 enabled BUT I get Unidentified network and Local only. What did I miss? On the ICS app it show SPRINT under network connection. Thanks /Peter |

My data usage shows 4,856,766kb on Sprint.com
Am I going to have an issue with Sprint regarding Data overage and the 5gb cap? I thought Sprint would not see the data usage. My Diamond does not register anywhere near what sprint.com is showing me regarding the data usage. |
