Re: Music - Album Art???
I had this same problem. So Success, you're saying you just used the non-active sync option and moved them over?

Re: Music - Album Art???
The best way I have found is to just move music over manually. I used Mp3tag to put the album art on the song tag, then moved it to the music file on the internal storage. I had to do it this way as WMP wouldn't show the album art on the TF3d Player.

Re: Music - Album Art???
I tried everything, and it turns out it's a problem with the ROM. There is a ROM fix for this problem on the GSM version. I don't know why Sprint didn't look at this problem before release??? I also found a link to this topic on pocketnow.com. The Senior Editor wrote a great fix for this... it's pretty involved, I may just wait for Sprint to fix this problem. WHY, SPRINT, WHY?

Re: Music - Album Art???
try saving the album art under the name "folder.jpg" (jpeg) in the specific file where the album songs are.
example: If I wanted the artwork for my Coldplay album Viva La Vida it would be like this: The jpeg (named "folder.jpg") image would be saved under .../Music/Coldplay/Viva La Vida |

Re: Music - Album Art???
Sonic... I followed your advice, and IT WORKED! Thank you! It took a little while, and my eye's are about to fall out of my head, but I'm a happy camper!
Here's what I did: 1. Sync'd all my music to the Diamond using ActiveSync and WinMedia Player. 2. Opened up File explorer and went to Internal Storage on Diamond. 3. Opened the Music directory. 4. When through each "Album" folder... 5. Copied the AlbumArt file, and pasted in the same folder... 6. Renamed the copied file, folder.jpg 7. Soft booted the Diamond, and now have Album Art in the Sprint Music Player. Thanks again sonic, and Adamz over at pocketnow.com! |
